A Sense Sublime: photos from across the Northeast
Hello, TYCA-Northeasters!
It's been quite a year, and we've missed being together with our English colleagues. Despite the challenges we have faced since the start of the pandemic, we have drawn inspiration from nature's abundant beauty in our little corners of the world, so we hope you enjoy these photos of our happy places
"And I have felt
A presence that disturbs me with the joy
Of elevated thoughts; a sense sublime...
Whose dwelling is the light of setting suns,
And the round ocean and the living air,
And the blue sky, and in the mind of man:
A motion and a spirit, that impels
All thinking things, all objects of all thought,
And rolls through all things.
Therefore am I still
A lover of the meadows and the woods
And mountains; and of all that we behold
From this green earth; of all the mighty world..."
~William Wordsworth,
"Lines Composed a Few Miles above Tintern Abbey" (1798)
In the next weeks and months, we will be publishing our members' work in the Nor'easter, so stay tuned.
Health and Happiness to all,
Your 2021 TYCA-Northeast Regional Executive Committee
