Kathy Davidson awarded AAC&U Frederic W. Ness Book Award

Kathy Davidson’s The New Education: How To Revolutionize the University to Prepare Students for a World in Flux was awarded the 2019  Association of American Colleges and Universities’ Frederic W. Ness Book Award. She will receive the award at AAC&U’s annual meeting on January 24, 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Davidson will deliver the keynote address at this year’s TYCA-NE conference in New York City. Her talk will draw from her award winning book and includes a participatory audience activity that demonstrates how “college for everyone” works in the classroom to prepare students not just to be “workforce ready” but to be “world ready.”
